Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Pat chicken pieces dry, then toss with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until lightly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes). Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar. Bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to pan and toss to coat in sauce. Cook another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and caramelizes.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
