Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium preferred)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat chicken pieces dry, then toss with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until lightly coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes). Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar. Bring to a simmer.
  • Return chicken to pan and toss to coat in sauce. Cook another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and caramelizes.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
